Non-timber forest products

We certify to trusted standards designed to ensure that products sourced in forests are done so in a way that benefits nature and people. Apart from timber, all kinds of products can be certified. These are known as non-timer forest products (NTFPs), and include:

• bamboo, natural rubber, cork and rattan

• foods including nuts, honey, cinnamon, maple syrup, fruit, mushrooms, venison and tea

• bark, seeds, gums, resins, oils and wax

Because non-timber products come from a variety of tree species, harvesting them in a sustainable way is central to forest conservation.

We can help you get these products certified under Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC^®) and PEFC forest management schemes.
