- Steven Lizars
Steven has worked in investment banking for nearly 30 years, operating in a variety of senior roles, including most recently for NatWest/RBS. He has worked internationally across all major corporate and institutional client segments providing corporate finance advice, debt capital markets expertise, and financial structuring capability. Steven has also worked in a leadership capacity across a range of strategic initiatives including relating to Brexit, business model evolution, and climate risk.
Most recently Steven has been working for HRH The Prince of Wales’ Sustainable Markets Initiative where he led the engagement with financial investors and was responsible for the Natural Capital Investment Alliance of 15 asset managers which was announced at COP26. Steven remains a Senior Advisor to the Sustainable Markets Initiative, focussed on increasing the flow of capital to small island developing states to help finance their sustainability ambitions.
Steven is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Law from the University of Southampton.
