Amendments to the the EU list of approved third country certification bodies.
The European Commission have published an update to the EU list of approved third country certification bodies.
The changes came into effect on 23rd January 2023. You can view the document 2023/186.
This affects importers in the EU and Northern Ireland.
The main changes are removal of ‘EKO-CONTROL SK s.r.o.’ and ‘LETIS S.A.’.
Does this affect imports into GB?
No. Defra do not automatically amend their list of approved certification bodies in line with any amendments the EC may make.
