EU-UK Trade & Cooperation Agreement – December 2023 deadline

Whilst we are aware of this December’s TCA deadline for reassessment of the recognition of equivalence, we are not currently aware of any significant equivalency issues that would affect the ongoing acceptance of organic goods under the terms of the Agreement.

If it transpires that the EU does raise equivalency issues, then we understand this would trigger a process to review and mitigate any negative outcomes. At this time we don’t anticipate any abrupt changes to EU acceptance of organic good from GB at the end of this year. We are monitoring progress and will inform all clients should we be made aware of any changes.
