Woodland Carbon Code training courses
Soil Association Certification has seen a huge increase of interest in the Woodland Carbon Code and has developed a training course for Forest managers/ Land agents looking to develop projects.
This voluntary code encourages a consistent approach to woodland carbon projects in the UK. Backed by the government, the forest industry and carbon market experts, the Code is unique in providing accredited woodland carbon units in the United Kingdom. It is recognised by the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA).
This one-day workshop aims to ensure you understand the documents and procedures required for successful submission of a project or group for validation - the initial evaluation of a project or group against the requirements of the Woodland Carbon Code, delivered by a body accredited by the UK Accreditation Service.
This course is aimed at organisations who would like to have their project verified. It will be held online using Microsoft Teams.
