Operations Manager - Certification

Janet grew up in the Netherlands and qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Utrecht University in 1998. After qualifying, she spent 15 years working as a farm animal vet in several practices in the Netherlands, UK and New Zealand. She has greatly enjoyed working with a wide variety of (organic) farmers, building relationships with regular clients and looking after the welfare and health of farm animals. She has been in the UK since 1999 and spent the last eight years working in Wiltshire with mostly dairy cattle, but also beef, sheep, alpacas, goats and other farm animals.

In May 2013, she started at Soil Association Certification as Senior Certification Manager. In this role she is using her practical experience to develop certification services to the benefit of our organic licensees.
