Local Programme Manager, Food For Life Scotland

Joe manages our work around health and social care for older people including hospitals, care homes and in the community. This incorporates inter-generational practice.

He enables and encourages positive change from policy through to practice to help organisations use good food to benefit peoples’ health and wellbeing, the Scottish economy and our natural environment. See a film about our work within care homes.

Joe joined Soil Association Scotland in 2012 bringing more than ten years’ experience working within socially minded organisations, including setting up his own ethical food retail business and working across regulation and compliance.
