Scotland farming work

Scotland’s farmers are a vital part of the solution to the global challenge of restoring climate, nature and health. Our farming programmes and resources are leading a transition to agroecology by bringing farmers, land managers, industry members, researchers and other experts together at events, in working groups and in field labs to share best practice and try new approaches.

The Scottish Organic Producer Board is a dedicated group of farmers and growers, working to represent and support organic businesses, and provide oversight and guidance to our work.

98%
of Scottish land
is classed as rural.
5.16

What we do

We support and enable farmers, land managers and crofters in Scotland to adopt more sustainable land management practices.
