2016 has been another strong year for Organic with the market growing at 6% and with many challenges and opportunities emerging around BREXIT. 

It is with this in mind that we will be keeping our certification fee increase in line with inflation for 2017 to ensure that we continue to support your business. Changes to our fees will take effect from 1st April 2017 and applies to our standard fees as set out on the fee sheets.

We continually review our fee structures to ensure they remain transparent, clear and fair and have therefore made changes some small changes to our fees. These changes will be communicated directly to those Licensees affected.

2016 was a busy year for Soil Association Certification and recent developments are highlighted here alongside the key dates for 2017.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to input into the Standards consultation; this is the biggest review of our standards and the update will happen in 2017. 

We appreciate any fee increase is never good news and with the uncertainty around costs and the market in 2017, we have kept this to a minimum.  We hope that you have also started to see the benefits from the support that we have been developing, and especially from the growing market, and look forward to working with you closely in 2017.
