Standards consultation: Meat stamps, endangered species and updates for clients in Northern Ireland

The Soil Association charity Standards team is consulting on new permitted inputs for
licensees in Northern Ireland, a higher standard amendment for organic abattoirs, and for
an updated higher standard for food processing.

• In Northern Ireland, we are consulting on updates to organic crop and feed

  production inputs and organic food and drink processing aids.

• For abattoirs, we would like to hear your views on the use of the organic meat

  stamp

• For food processing we would like to introduce a requirement to help safeguard

  critically endangered species within our food and drink standards.
