Baobab Cranberry Sauce
Everyone loves a big dollop of cranberry sauce on their Christmas meal – but have you ever thought of making your own? This one is healthy, delicious and the leftovers are delicious on toast, or as a topping for ice cream. Yum!
1 tbsp Aduna Baobab Superfruit Powder
1 bag of fresh or frozen cranberries (4 cups)
1/3 cup sweetener (agave, pure maple syrup or raw honey)
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup water
Add all ingredients to a saucepan over medium heat, stir to mix and leave to simmer, stirring it frequently.
The cranberries will start to pop (don’t be alarmed) and the sauce will begin to thicken up.
Cook until the sauce is your preferred consistency - between 5 & 10 minutes.
