What happens after Brexit?
From 1st January 2021, unless you are based in Northern Ireland, there will be changes to standard requirements for the importing, exporting and labelling of organic products. As we do not yet know the detail of the terms of the future trading relationship between the UK and the EU, we cannot update our standards with the changes that will be needed until this has been finalised. We will make the changes as soon as we can in the new year. In the meantime, please be aware that from the 1st January some aspects of these standards in relation to the labelling of products, importing and exporting requirements, will not be correct. For more detailed guidance and information on how these changes might affect your business please visit the Soil Association Certification Brexit homepage.Get ready for Brexit
