Campaign for Change
We campaign for change on issues at the heart of healthy food and farming.
It all begins with the soil, as does most of life on earth! But our work reaches much farther than that. We campaign for healthy soils, farmland, and countryside; farming practices that are ecologically friendly and socially responsible and healthy food, especially for those that need it most.
We believe that organic farming is better for people, better for animals, and better for the environment. And that everyone should have access to good, healthy food.
So if you feel as passionate as we do about good food, we believe you'll find a campaign of ours that reflects the things that matter to you.
Get involved and be at the heart of the good food movement.
Neonicotinoid pesticides are contaminating our countryside and poisoning our wildlife. The Government's partial ban isn't enough.
Save our Soils
Healthy soils produce better food, support the environment, and can even help reduce climate change. We want the Government to commit to saving our soils.
GMOs have failed to deliver on their promises of greater yields, better nutrition, and reduced pesticide use. We need to look to other solutions.
Out to Lunch
With the help of an army of 'secret diner' parents, we surveyed some of the UK's biggest and most popular chains on the food and service they are offering our children. This is what we found.
Organic farming is ethical by most descriptions, it is farming in a way that benefits the soil, ecosystem and ultimately the person who eats organic food.Jamie Carr Future Grower Abbey Home Farm, Cirencester
I’m incredibly proud that our kids’ menu has reached the top spot on the Soil Association's [Out to Lunch campaign's] league table for the second time running. Over the last 12 months we’ve been working really hard to make sure that all the dishes are not only super-tasty and visually fantastic, but are nutritionally balanced, too.Jamie Oliver
