Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture
Community supported agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and consumers in which the responsibilities, risks and rewards of farming are shared.
The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Network UK exists to connect and advise farmers, growers and consumers, while also promoting the CSA model to policy makers.
Have a look at the new website for the CSA Network.
The Soil Association has been working on CSA over the past 10 years, including as part of the Big Lottery funded Making Local Food Work project to grow the concept and support farmer and communities to take control of their food production. The network is the next step in this development of CSA in the UK.
