Asda ‘AA’ module

If you manufacture Asda branded food products and already have BRC Global Food Certification you should have already heard from Asda about the new ‘AA’ audit module.

The audit is intended as a ‘bolt on’ module, and Asda have advised that this will add an additional 2-4 hours to the BRC audit, depending on the food categories and nature of your operation.

The Soil Association are able to combine your organic audit and annual BRC Global Food Certification, working in partnership with Kiwa PAI. From February 2015 we will also conduct your Asda ‘AA’ module.

There isn’t currently a bolt-on module for the BRC Storage and Distribution standard and pet food suppliers are also excluded from the Asda ‘AA’ module.
